This was built by a local guy here in Minneapolis. Originally had a 750F1 motor, later got a 984 SS motor. Here I was fooling around a bit

Welcome Reed. Is the "frankenbike" being re-built by someone? MikeV

I traded it to a guy in South Dakota, but I think he traded off a pile of belt drive bikes for a green frame 750SS. So I'm not sure where it ended up.

Very interesting! This sounds like a trade made by someone on the Forum! Would any of the moderators like to comment? Lou

I do know that a Spondon alloy chassis for a Pantah was involved in the trade

Yes I can feel the heat from here! Ive heard about these "top secret" big game hunting expeditions to the west with staring roles from our very own moderators. We eventually come clean..... dont we Lou? -Cranky- PS-Not sure about the Frankein-bike as it was not part of my hunting expedition.

Hey Cranky - Maybe if you post your "expedition report" (that packed van photo comes to mind), it might spur on others to do the same... Allows those of us too busy filling kiddie pools and building playscapes to live vicariously.

Now we all know that information would have to be "declassified" before such stories and photos could be released to the public! At least your "just in time Barber success" benefitted from just such a supply bus. But weren’t you sworn to secrecy ? -Cranky-
