Hi Ducati knowledge people, does a Ducati f1 dry clutch share a different oil pump gear? The pantah pump gear is 44T The primary drive is 22T. The f1 is 30T on primary drive. What do I need for the oil pump gear (no of teeth/model) Thanks Boucher.

Good morning Mr.Boucher...
I asked the same question earlier this year. The number MikeV posted was 58. Search "oil pump" and you will see other combinations that Mike posted. I found it easier and just as economical to purchase the entire pump assembly.

Also note that the early pantah oil pump housings will not clear the later straight cut gears that are a larger diameter. You will see that all the later pump housings have a crescent shaped notch machined on the top of the them to clear the gear. Lou

Look for the March 22, 2017 postings in tt2 technical section Boucher, started by flattop.

That's something else I never noticed about the oil pumps.
First one early hand ground for clearance.
Second one machined.
Third one cast.
So with all these revisions going on, are the internal gears all going to be the same?

So I'm after a oil pump with a 58t to run against the 30t primary drive. Thanks Boucher.

From experience, try and keep the primary and oil pump gears as an original set, swapping gears can sometimes generate a LOT of engine noise even thought the gear teeth look identical.
