This is a new build espacially for the mountain course. I've altered the geometry slightly and an extra 15mm of wheel movement on the front, 20mm on the rear, with a special Nitron shock bulit to include a top out spring. The IOM rules are pre-86 so am using a 750 paso based engine. Yes, it's not a real TT1 but having the choice of a hot rear carb or hot exhaust, I'll pick a cooler carb every time. Frame, swing arm, oil breather tank, fuel tank, yokes, forks, exhaust system and plenty of the other stuff are made in house.
We went testing at Pukekohe (cos it's very bumpy) last month. After the first session Chris came in and declared "Just throw it in the van, there's nothing to do to it". We started the day rich and safe so leaned it out over 4 sessions and still a little more to go. Running 39mm flat slide Dellorto's. I'm certain they'll be plenty to do once we're there. !

My rear carb remark was strictly tongue in cheek. It is a beautiful bike. It looks really light, have you weighed it? The clip-ons look to be set to encourage a tight tuck. Hope to see a photo of Chris at speed on the mountain. Best wishes!! Bill

Thanks for your kind words chaps. Haven't weighed it yet but it should be slightly lighter than my other 750 which sits at 127kg with oil/no fuel. When the Nitron shock arrived I thought they'd sent an empty box, and the magnesium Marzocchi replica forks weigh a miserable 3.4kg each with oil. ! Fairing and seat is thinner/lighter, Campags weigh less than the Dymags so am guessing at 122kg all up. I'll weigh it at the TT.

Hey sports... You are a man who definitely builds to impress. That is a great looking race bike. I really like that special swing arm. Good luck on your return to the island. Best Regards... Flattop

Good luck Glynn, I'm sure she goes even better than she looks, and that's saying a lot! Lou
