The trouble is that I think it is hard to speak with certainty about any vintage race part Dick; and, who wants to face the shame of being wrong? Having said that, if you look at the lobes on NCR7s, Montjuich, and GM race cams they all LOOK the same---obvious longer duration and higher lift than the standard 600-750 cams. If you try to measure just using calipers and math (I do not have a "cam doctor" to measure) they seem to be the same. And once installed they all act about the same regarding measured lift, duration, and necessary valve-to-valve clearance at rest (6mm will get .050 to .060"). So here is another set of GM F1 "7" cams installed. MikeV

Flattop: I see you have a set of D Pantah heads: What size are your valves, and did you measure the V-to-V clearance at rest and at closest opening? Finally, what are your lobe centers? MikeV
