When I was looking for an exhaust for my pantah project I wanted a right side exit, the are a little easier to make for rear facing heads. You can get creative with a horizontal pipe from a newer exhaust and join it up at the back of the motor using a primary from an old exhaust (vertical) I bought a lot of old pipes and cut them and tack welded until I got want I liked the look of. Give it a try, it is fun.... in a sick sort of way! Good luck Santi! Paul

There were a few of these right side NCR exhausts around. This one was fitted to the Pete Johnson Allazura. Not what I would call a good design for performance. The one in the picture with Adamo is a one off Supertrapp which actually is a good design. Back to Lou’s question on frames. Johnson was using the DM frame in a modified production class which was illegal. He was “persuaded “ to switch to a production Allazura frame during the season. I have that frame but it too has some interesting features that are not quite “production”.

Cool Cranky. Will you some photos of the "stock" Pantah race frame some time? Are you going to rebuild this as it was raced? Any photos of that? MikeV

Came across this while trolling for pictures of exhaust pipes. To bad you can't see the other side. Interesting header design. It actually has a secondary pipe before the extractor, kind of like a car exhaust. Flattop.

Oooh...cool photo!...Road Atlanta...John Hoffman's Cycle Specialties of Athens...a true Ducati good guy. Why go to all that trouble with the exhaust - to keep it from grounding out in Gravity Cavity?

That is a neat photo flattop. The bend for the H cylinder looks painful, although the header looks like a stock one. EPM six-spoke wheels. MikeV
PS: When will we see some postings of your projects?

I think that might be John in the photo. I miss him, cranky old b@$†rd he was. A true friend if you knew him well enough, and damn fast by his own merit.
