I guess when I said weird it should have been "difficult --- to make". It is certainly neat to see the top of the engine for a change. But for someone good with fiberglass (like you) or aluminum (like Glyn) maybe it is not so difficult. The 4-spoke wheel is certainly interesting, and I think both were Campy and/or early Tecnos. MikeV Those 4 spoke wheels are BEYMAG and were magnesium cast in spain, very good quality, light, very strong and pretty rare....I exchanged a 16" front wheel last year.... They were "usual" on yamaha TZ's

Interestingly one photo has a 4 spoke the other a 5. The tank wouldn't be too bad to make, I think the back may not hold any fuel. A challenge for sure! Paul

Has anyone bought the Taraky frame kit? I really want to build a Tecfar replica. I have been corresponding with a really nice guy in Spain who is friendly with the Tecfar mechanic from that period. Lou I've seen this bike on sale right now and the seller says it's a numbered original frame... http://www.classic-motorrad.de/anzeigen ... l&id=19586
