First day back after the big smackdown last August. The bike, with new engine, wheels, and tires ran perfectly. Till the shifter rod (with LH and RH threads) spun loose late in the day and made shifting down difficult. And the NOS (2008) Bridgestones were a bit slippery at first. Tired, so spent the last session talking with a Canadian friend. Found the small problem when I got home - duh - fixed it. Thanks for the encouragement fellas. Glad some of you are still out there. I even got the jetting right on this one out of the box - 182 on V, and 178 on H. The engine is good for 10,000 rpm. MikeV |
