I noticed in a magazine that Brook Henry's new replica ($100,000 each) of the Mike Hailwood 1978 Isle of Man winner was using them, so decided to give them a try. Just went to a local bike dealer to order them. MikeV Hi Mike. Years ago I used in my pantah and darmah in classic races some Avon with soft compound for classic races, I can tell you that they were fantastic.

A few shots of the current stage: Engine fired on first try; a few small weeps from the oil fittings --- got fixed; brakes bled, but had to change the masters front and rear; the 120/80-16 front tire just barely squeezed into the fender; and, as I expected, the NOS early-90s regulator is not compatible with the 1980s alternator --- so no juice there. Some of the wiring needs to be made more tidy. Carlo will be happy to see that I changed the location of the power switch and starter button. Added a small gas tank catch tank. Done. Everything works now. Tired. I am going to try to leave it alone for a week, and then take another look. This one will make it to a track day this year. MikeV Attachment:

Take a well deserved rest Mike! I really loved the way your paint scheme turned out. It works nicely and still has the vintage look. Great job as always Mike. Another great inspiration for me to get my ass back to work! You should be proud of her! Lou

An outstanding job Mike! I have not posted any appreciation earlier, so now you get the full monty! Please take it to track, that is where it belongs! I need to get started with my TT1 soon, collected a front PVM wheel last weeken when I raced the KTM Supermono for the first time, as a shake down it was successful! /Björn
