Lou, what are the sizes of those wheels, respectively?

5x16 rear, 3.5x16 front. A real period hot rod. Thanks Paul! Lou

Polishing aluminum isn't particularly difficult. Getting to the point when you can polish a piece is brutal. This intake has a casting texture on it, and is an awkward shape. Grind, file and sandpaper. Now varying grades of sand paper till the finish is ready for polish. Oh and don't forget to match the ports! Man my fingers hurt. Lou

Where do you get the patience from!
Great work, my fingers hurt just looking at the photos.
You are an inspiration to us all Lou.

Thanks Paul, I decided to go with a spun aluminum look on the wheels. This wheel isn't finished, just wanted to share what I think will be a better look than polished. Lou

Here's what the wheel halves look like apart. An O-ring seal, these things are nicely made. Lou

A real beauty Lou, you gotta be happy with that. Definitely a one off build. Wheels I’ve never seen, 16” tyres! What will you use? Boucher.

That is one giant O-ring for mankind. Oddly, there are three of these, same kind of construction, for a car listed on ebay now. MikeV
