Hi all and thanks for the add. I was introduced to the group by Gilles Lachance, and am lucky to call Pat Slinn a friend, joining him at Barber's this year

Anyway the photo is my TT2 project - genuine Verlicchi frame and swing arm (something replicas always get wrong) and TL600 engine as it should be. Is certificated for road use. No idea when it'll get finished because I couldn't really afford to buy it but took a chance because I suspect the TT2 is on the cusp of appreciation, in both senses of the word, and this will be my last chance to own one

I researched Walter Villa's TT1 and wrote a little on it for Classic Bike magazine. Will also do a more extensive feature in my next publication of Benzina. I also need a topic for book #5, so maybe with help from you guys it could be a definitive TT2/1 history

Best wishes

Greg Pullen

Hi Greg, welcome to the Forum. Sorry I missed you at Barbers. Looks like a great start for a TT2. What are your plans? Original style, racer, street machine, we need to know! Good luck, and you have come to the right place for help. Sounds like a great idea for a book. Lou

Hi Lou and thanks for the add. Sorry you couldn't make Barber's.

Plan is to recreate a latter Tony Rutter Replica, in blue and red. Pat had both their TT1 and TT2 in the same colours to allow interchangability of parts; if everything's going in one small van it all counts! Biggest challenge in both cost and rarity terms will be finding those Marzocchi front forks with mag-alloy sliders.

That will be an interesting transformation! A lot of interesting parts and decals to chase down I'll bet. Welcome, and keep us posted with some photos over time Greg. MikeV
