Please don't mount those big globby things on that beautiful bike. Maybe use a small bar end clamp on mirror like Bevel Heaven sells, and you can even keep those red bar ends right where they belong.

How do these look PG?

And notice how little time it took to make the fairing look used---from the heat of the header pipe! Did you ever notice how quickly something new becomes used?

I feel your pain Mike...
Three weeks after buying a 748, my wife took it out while I was at work and dropped it! My F1 had some kind of foil tape insulation all over the inside of the fairing on the pipe side. May help it from getting worse.
Best Regards...

Very Funny PG. We know exactly what you are referring too---the red bar ends! Plus, remember, some are now asking a fortune for the Vitaloni mirrors. Eventually the new owner of this bike will get both with it, and I can retire with the proceeds in the Bahamas along with Jimmy Buffet. MikeV

I wrapped my headers with exhaust wrap on my Laguna after noticing the paint on the fairing where the pipes exit starting to darken. The wrap contacts the fairing there because it's a tight fit but doesn't seem to heat the paint.
I agree that those mirrors are fugly. When I was gathering things to make my Laguna street legal, I was looking for a set. I'm glad now that I didn't find them. Bar end mirror does the trick.
Wish I had the money to buy your bike. I could keep my Laguna in the garage except for an occasional spurt and still have fun with yours. I'd like to see what it's like with 17" wheels. Good luck with the sale.

Funny about the mirrors/bar ends. I did not get the high-priced versions that Bill suggested. The cheap ones I bought were amazingly well done. But they drive me crazy because I kept bumping into them in my garage. They are adjusted with set screws, and on my first test ride the one on the right fell off and plunked me on my foot! Did not go back to find it. So, now it has none; just the black bar ends. It will be up to the next owner to decide this issue.

I played with fairing adjustment, and the burn is no longer an issue.
