Nice work Mike. I'm curious about your forks, triple clamps, and clip-ons. They look ex-851 except for the slider caliper mounting lugs??
And those bar ends....beautiful!
Bill

Hay (as someone we know says) Bill. Not that special: 750 Paso M1Rs in F1 clamps line bored for them, with Ed Milich blank adapters drilled for the 300mm discs. I wondered who would see those bright red bar ends first. Clipons are 851.

750TT: Why do you never like my wheels? Is it the medium metallic gray that coordinates so well with the silver frame and black (were silver last time) forks, and hardly shows any dirt? Or would you prefer those original clunky 16-inch wheels with solid rotors instead of these wonderful 17-inch Technomagnesio mags?

One of my great pleasures in building bikes is making lots of aluminum chips and swirls on my vintage lathe. Even greater is now being able to make the most simple but useful things out of aluminum! I know this is beginning shop level, and I have seen many of you do much more difficult things, but ain't it fun? MikeV

This time not critical color.
I only seem too modern for the rest of the motorcycle

Hallo Cranky. Good to hear from you.

Well, one week later and it's on the ground. Just need to keep "accessorizing". MikeV

I think that those Tecnomagnesio wheels are just as good as the Campagnolo AND they are easier to clean :-)
Pity they are difficult to find.

Nice result !

ciao

Been a couple of productive weeks since the last post, so here we are today. Everything is working except the rear brake light. If I had my new grips I would be off on a first ride. When I do it will be with a well-worn F1 fairing and pan so the NOS LS fairing will be spared for a while. I am using one-piece footpegs that will double as lifting handles using the center stand.
