Great solution Chris, did you consider a shrink fitting vs press fit and silver? I like the look of those fox shocks! Paul

Hi Paul, I think it was about 1-2thou interference. Than silver solder on ends. This was the second one as the first was too tight and had cracks in it when it cooled. Boucher.

Chris are the 883 parts cast or powdered metal? Great work! Always nice to know how problems are solved! Paul

Paul don’t think they are cast. Hard to machine lots of nice sparks. Boucher

Sounds like it was pretty hard, nothing like getting a light show while machining something!

it doesn't move, it doesn't move, don't worry, great job, what effort does that gear have to make? Not much effort, I think it will be ok! You are a thoroughbred horse !!

Does that key drive a spring-loaded distribution? Do you think it will be enough? If it was a desmo distribution there was no problem, as there is minimal effort in such a distribution. Try to understand if the effort of the spring distribution will be borne by that key, if that gear breaks or is damaged, you will curse in ancient Aramaic.
