Keep the progress pics coming Speaking of Harleys, I have a free 3/4 scale Harley replica that a guy gave me. The basic shape/profile doesnt look too bad and kinda looks 70's. Its actually an old Honda Ascot 500 vtwin .......what can you say about that.....I guess its worth every penny of free is about it???????

I must say you are doing a great job !! Very bad and performing! Did I look with interest at the part underneath the engine block, an auxiliary engine oil tank?

fantastic! I see that the draft of the pipe connected to the oil pump has a collecting sump, but when you accelerate or when you brake, the level will be constant so as not to have air instead of oil? Mine is just curiosity, surely you have already analyzed this hypothesis. How much oil will such an imposing twin-cylinder have available? I like your project, if I was two or three blocks away, I would come to you and watch what you do!

Carlo, it should hold about 3.5 litres same as a pantah. It has no real oil pressure I’m told 7psi. It more floods the engine, all needle bearings. The big problem I’m told and read is the oil buildup in crank area with sustained high revs. The oil can’t get away and it fill up around crank and cases and it’s like a brake coming on. I’ve built this windage/ crank scrapper that should wind the oil off the crank flywheels and drops back into oil tank. Tank has baffles to stop oil surge. I’m thinking oil will flow over baffles under braking and acceleration and I’ve drilled a hole down the Center of baffles so oil can go through as well. Sort of slows it up for the oil pickup. Most of the fittings in tank are for drainage out of the heads and back to the tank. That’s the plan??? Boucher.

I am sure that you will find the optimal way to make everything work at its best, I see welds made well, and particular competitive bikes, the secret of a good success in your project is not to be in a hurry to put your ass on the saddle and engage the first gear! I have always had this flaw, to be in a hurry to get on top and go !!! the more time passes, the more this defect of mine goes away, because now I have a lot of satisfaction in creating, and much less in driving ........... I think I'm getting old! Good job!

Thanks Paul, Carlo. One of things I’m proudest of are the fake FOX shocks. Totally fake made from a set of piggyback ohlin’s. The closest I could get to the 80s style shock. Boucher.
