Here's a scan of the Kevin Cameron "King of the Boomers" March 1979 "Cycle" article on the Udo Gieti / Todd Schuster heavily modified for AMA Superbike racing BMW R90S that was mentioned by Paul in his book. Gives a good idea of how much work went into those early superbike racers.

Thanks for posting that Bill, I remember reading it back then and not really understanding it then...

The 1st at Mosport is really impressive when you consider the long, uphill back stretch that favors high horsepower bikes.
