Hello Ducati people. I've made a bit more progress with the epicycle twin. Engine in frame,exhaust,electrics and finally the easy bit, the carbs. WRONG? What I thought were the original carbs turned out are not. With a call or two to pete smith and a bit of head scratching, I proceeded with a die grinder in one hand and a blindfold on I got them to fit in the space provided. (Pete was helpful as always) I'm a bit embarrassed to take a die grinder to a set of malossi carbs though it seems to have worked. Boucher.

Wow!! Is there room for the fuel inlet or to be able to get to the adjustments on the sides?

Hi bill, yes it is a tight squeeze ,though the frame has dints in places and they seem to match different points on the carbs. Boucher.

The smallest things seem to take the most time, though I'm still making progress. Hopefully it all goes well and that old oil gauge goes up with the revs. Fingers crossed. Boucher

Pareto was Italian.
And the bike You're working on is a PAR(allel) TWO cylinder ;)

Tremendous job You've done, reworking left and right side of the cases.
Did You use the original gears to work the camchain-thing or are those also modified ?

We sure are curious about hearing that engine :shock:

Hi,Yes it used the standard cam chain arrangement , just juggling cam chain teeth and off set keys as the engine is slightly taller. The engine side covers were as pete smith made they are original as is the gearbox and dry clutch. Boucher.
