Congrats Boucher. Possibly the most challenging restoration posted on the site. MikeV

Well deserved!!!!!! I wasn't on the list earlier when you were building. I will have to check out that anti dive gizmo on the front, that looks interesting.

That's like finding the 10 commandments in your shed! You really could of used that a few years ago! Still my favorite restoration on the Forum. Lou

Yes Lou it would have been very handy for researching the built. You can see he welded up around left hand case to strengthen it. I made and alloy plate with a c3 bearing to spread the load. Though I think the the revs were a bit optimistic,14,000 as a 500 and 11,000 as a 720. That single row cam chain would be a bit stretched. I’ve seen 8,500 on mine and it sounded like it would grenade at any moment. Boucher.

Just to finish off the epicycle, I know Lou ran some pics for me. Phil ansyley arrived one day and we turned the carport into a out door type studio. I think he was here for about 5 hours , moving things and different lights and reflectors. It’s a art form. A real nice guy with plenty of rare motorcycle stories. He’s photographed it. Check out his site. Boucher.
