O.k., the shape of the muffler does bother me a bit as well. It is too modern looking for the rest of the bike. I can fix that. I'll win some big lottery, fly to Madrid, buy it, and ride it home. Then have Steve Loudbike's exhaust welder do up a more period correct reverse cone Cranky Roller designed type muffler, with the angle of it tipped down a little so it's parallel with the seat pad. Powder coat it flat black. This change looks like it would involve relocating the rear brake reservoir, which would be easy. Then I would ditch that rubber band, and run a return spring down from the lower foot peg mounting bracket to about mid point of the back side of the rear brake lever. Other than keeping an eye on the headlight bracket for vibration cracks, I wouldn't change a thing. Would that make the right hand side easier for you to look at? If so, I'll start buying lottery tickets. Bill

The RHS of the bike does look a bit unusual, but were the pipework to be "unwrapped", it would look a lot a lot less half-done.......... Poison
