Yep, i like to keep it simple, like Reno Leoni. And here is a start on the coils and igniter boxes. Room enough under that tank to haul some “shine”, like we used to do. MikeV

Well here is where the suspension is headed: some Tecnomagnesio 17” wheels; 43mm Paioli fully adjustable forks off late DB2; 320mm Brembo discs up front; and Spiegler CNC’d four-piston calipers. MikeV

Carissimo Mike, I believe you are putting together some very very nice components, go ahead, I'm curious and I'm keeping an eye on you!

Got the forks more or less set up - no, I will not install with the calipers out front. And I like the way the minimalist body parts will fit and look. Want to be able to get to everything quickly, which a full fairing prevents. The 851 tank does not look as bulbous now (was going to call this bike “the pregnant guppy”). MikeV

Yeah, that is what I am hoping. Done by the end of the month. And why it will be very simple, at least for the first year. Easy access. Then it may get remodeled. MikeV

Half fairing is a great choice. I like how the angle of the top of the fairing, tank and seat are all pretty much the same. Helps with the visual flow from front to back. A little off the lower part of the fairing corner, so it doesn't break the line of the frame tube. Along with that fork this one is going to be a beauty.
