583, on the psycho I used two Ducati st2 steel swingarms, split them up the Center as to use the sprocket kickout on both sides. Than jigged and welded. It has the small pivot shaft of course. If I was to do it again I’d use a alloy version of a 851/888. For lightness. The wheel base is slightly longer with the st2 swingarm. It tends to steer like a Volvo on marbles. Boucher.

Well, here is where I left off the swingarm I hacked up. It will work for a street bike, I think. It all goes together fine. May clean it up a bit, but not change anything else.

By the way now your swingarm look very strong and reliable.

I realized I was wrong on cases dimension.
I believed 400ss had the same room of a Pantah case. This I believed, allowed me to install a modified "stock" Alazzurra swingarm
But 400ss case is 2 cm wider than a Pantah case in the swingarm mount area.

Boucher I have a monster 600 swingarm on my shed so I will give it a chance trying to do something like you did on Psyco.

Yes indeed Filippo, those cases are a bit larger.
I tried the same with Indiana cases (the same as Pantah/Alazzurra and 28 mm shaft) and the rear fork (larger and aluminium, but also a few cm longer).
That would work with "flattening" the tube that goes to the bottom engine support. Or cutting the whole section.
So I cut the bottom part off (and a lot more) and fitted 600SS engine with the fork of 900SS in aluminium (also a bit longer then Pantah).
And what about the rear exhaust of the Indiana : it turns to the RHS of the engine instead of down. Don't know if it clears the battery though.
Elefant 350-650 exhausts do the same, but a bit different. But it makes it easy to put the exhaust under the seat like BigBrother 916.

I remember on internet a Pantah with Elefant exhaust line. With muffler installed on the Pantah tail.
I cannot find now any photo of that bike and I don't remember if the line was modified to fit with Pantah frame.
For shure that was a very good looking bike.

Same for Indiana rhs exhaust line i don't know if it will hit the battery and frame too.

Anyway This of the various exhaust line is a very interesting topic
