Ok it's raining and i' m short in ideas. or maybe I have too much ideas on my heads.
So as title say i went out with the oddest idea I have
So please..
https://youtu.be/C9Pw0xX4DXI

I really don't like how reversed head look on Pantah/Alazzurra frames.
Of course this is just my point of wiev
I don't want to be offensive in regards of these kind of builts.

But I was curious about reversed head exaust setup installing stock Alazzurra foot peg.
Following what append in two-hour rush.

I focused on exhaust just to see the room they take on frame and I feel happy with the result of this dry assembly.

The plan is to built a stock looking Alazzurra with stock side covers to hide reversed head's and exhausts
Ciao
Filippo

Hello Filippo. Here is the bigger challenge, I believe: Finding a swingarm that has a path between the case and the swingarm. Most all the modern exhaust systems require more room than a Pantah swingarm does. Here is one solution. But the U shape has to be bigger. And I did not realize my helmet visor darkening was not working well at the time, so I had some "wormy" welds there. And the problem with the Aluminum swingarms is the top hoop not clearing the frame, and only the 750 Sport and first-year 750ss versions have the big pin for the case. This was going to be with a 600ss 2-into-1 RH system. But I have switched to a 2-into-2 Paso system. Finally, it is a good idea to install the arm on the case and add everything tight and spaced well at the axle end so the arm does not twist or close in during welding.I will watch your progress. MikeV

Hello MikeV
Thank you very much for posting.
Your suggestion and photos are motivating and clarifying.
You'r right, nothing abnormal :)
Just a big challenge!!.
About U shaped swing arm, you will need additional room on the swing arm to for the rear exhaust?
I'm asking because i want to install stock rear swing arm too, but on a 400 ss case. It Should fit the Alazzurra frame as the stock case, except for the swingarm pin. And of course the modification on the swingarm

Thank again !!!
Ciao Filippo

Ciao Filippo. Well, another curveball.

I looked at what I tried to do, and find it a bit odd. Was trying not to mess with the swingarm pin size. Ugly stuff. But trying to weld this stuff is good practice!

Look at Boucher’s “Psycho Lives” project, and Huit’s “New build” posted a year or so earlier, both in this section, and you may find quite a bit of help. They seem to be the direction you are going. And great results!

It has been fun re-reading some of the older threads again.

in my humble opinion, I believe that it is destined to crack and give way to twists, with the double shock absorber when the chain is in tension it creates an uneven force and tends to raise the left part of the swingarm, I would make a truss in the part underlying as the Moretti or GPM chassis, of course if I foresee the future .... I would play the lottery.

Yes Carlo I suppose the above is a good alternative, effective and with a good appeal!!

Last night I managed to draw the following schetch. No Photoshop just brush and acrilic paint.
I was finding a way to reply the early ' '80 Cagiva 500 appeal.
This is my attemp.
Stock Alazzurra tank .
F1 seat and a kind of fairing
