Have you guys found a solution to fitting a Verlicchi swing arm with 28mm pin to the later Monster/SS engines with the small pins?

Edit. Just checked, and the engine block on the SS is 170mm wide, and the Sport is 150mm. Didn't help at all...

Yes, and if you got the later, small pin, aluminum swingarm for the newer engine that would crash into the back vertical frame rails on a Pantah, F1, or vintage TT. MikeV

I have a 89/90 750 Sport where the front cylinder is bad. Got hold of a good running 750SS/Monster (about -98 ) engine and was thinking about an engine swap. Since I can't use the original swing arm, I now consider putting the SS cylinder, piston and heads on the Sport block. Dont know if it would work. The front cylinder looks correct "from the outside", but don't know if there are internal differences I have to deal with. Anyone knows?

Again, can be done with some experince and more parts, but not a drop in task. For example, the recesses for the oil rings are in the 750 Sport heads, but in the top of the
Cylinders for the 750 SS---a conflict. You can more easily put the heads, cylinders, oil feed/locating dowels and pistons from the SS on the Sport case. MikeV
