Ciao Ducadini
i belive the off-set of the F3 is 2.5 cm, the same of 750 F1 focelle italia clamps, but i will measure it to be sure.
i undestand that reducing the off set mean slower turn but in this way i move the weight forward, i find real benefit in lifting the rear ammo of 2 cm so i hope to do the same with this new clamps. i have just to try it on the track..
And no, Fmi site is unintuitive, maybe you can find same news on "Superpantah" blog and "Anima Guzzista" site . anyway i don't know about the existence of a good tread about the italian classic scene on other sites

this link are about the classic scene

Pics of my clamps.
Stock clamps look to have 4/5 cm off-set while F3 clamps 2,5 cm. (almost)
MikeV you was right, with F3 clamps the tubes hit the Pantah tank.
Ciao
Filippo

Ciao Filippo,

My opinion is you are doing the best choice for the track but of course you will need to also check and maybe adjust your ride height at both front and rear suspension, now. You probably well know fork offset is measured from centre of each fork tube to centre of steering stem only. I agree with you that the flat clamps you help increase weight to front wheel, think about your swingarm, you can make that longer with some work.

Please post more pictures when you have some results, very interesting!

Thanks,
Francis

Thank you Francis!
The meter on the pics I just for reference.
I let the old fork high, but of course I have to try everything on track.
Stretching the svingarm is a great idea that I have on mind to do one day.
I will keep updated this tread.

Ciao e grazie
Filippo

Of course you know, but I was lucky to realise that Elefant 350 is equipped with 520 chain.
So the same front sprocket shaft of Alazzurra/Pantah.
I buy a Pbr front sprocket, , a 520 chain and from Menani a semi milled z39 sprocket then milled to fit the stock Pantah hub.
Everything fit with out spacer or extra job.
And I also saved 1.1 kg .

Finally I had a track day!
My feedback is very positive, the new clamps do exactly wath I expect from them.
The bike enter the turn faster than before, and "close" the turn/trajectory better.
And ,also, maintain the usual Pantah stability on fast turn.
I'm also impressed by my k65 Heidenau 3.50 new rear tire on a 2,75 epm wheel.
Better handling on the chicane.

Ciao
Filippo
