Post subject:  Slipper clutch on a 750F1

Hi All,

Is it possible to install a slipper clutch on a 1985 750F1 engine ? What do I have to buy and where to make such a conversion ?

I now use my F1 only for track days. So, it makes sense for me to make such a modification. Maybe a winter project ?

Thanks for any advice,

You can use a modern slipper clutch on the old Pantah drive train, but you will need to use a different actuator mechanism since the clutch push rod doesn't come from the left side of the case.

Redfox sells a set up ready to go but it is not cheap. If your handy, you could also fabricate one if you like.

Yes it is a very tasty item. It's not listed on their website, but email Jan and he'll tell you the specs and prices. You should sit down for the telephone call. :D
