One of my all time favourites!
I believe one of these was for sale in Spain a few weeks back.

One of my all time favorites as well, but I don't think this is the one that was for sale. I think the picture I am including is the one that was for sale. It sold immediately. Has anyone bought the Taraky frame kit? I really want to build a Tecfar replica. I have been corresponding with a really nice guy in Spain who is friendly with the Tecfar mechanic from that period. Lou

This frame was better than the TT1 verlicchi.
Antonio Cobas was a genius in frame design.

That first photo was in my favorite Cathcart book from way way back, and has burned a permanent black hole in my brain. I stared at that for hours and hours, but I never noticed that 4-spoke Campy until now! Where the hell would you find one of those? Lou, you got one?

And, where would you get a lot of the parts, from the rear suspension bits to the bodywork (seat looks like a TZ or a Bimota KB, and tank is just plain weird)?

Are you referring to the book with the mystical title "Ducati, the untold story", or something like that? It has some great photos.

Having started this, you (and you know who you are) with Carlo's replica Morettis also have something quite unique, and beautiful.

MikeV

PS: I went to look up Morettis images online, and this guy showed up!

I had inquired about this a while back. Taraky will make the swingarm and said they could source out the bodywork. Not for the faint of heart or financially responsible! I really want a genuine Pantah Kobas (yes with a K). I have what I believe is a Rotax Kobas frame. Beautiful workmanship. Lou
