Nice bike Dave, and I agree it is always really exciting to see your bike in print. I build and write about VMX bikes so have had some in print.

As for the value the Pantah's are starting to fetch pretty decent money as people realise they are quite a usable classic. I have owned 6 of them so probably a bit bias

My issue of "Motorcycle Classics" arrived today and read your article first off. Very nice write-up and photos. Congratulations!

Thanks for all of the compliments. I started with a very solid bike cosmetically, mechanically.......not so much. The author runs around with the same group of vintage bike nuts that I do, so it was an easy match. Anders had written a couple of other articles for MC, but they were all stories about himself and some of his trips and vintage racing. This was his first model review and more technical piece. I thought he struck a good balance between the technical and human interest portion....although I am probably very biased.
