Brad,

There's a picture of it in this thread from last year with the factory fairings on.

Marvic gold and Marchesini gold are very different colors. I'll ge the wheels painted some day.

I like the high-rise seat pad! As we all get older I have thought of a few more great geriatric accessories like this one.

1. Low-sets instead of rear-sets for the foot pegs which enable blood to flow again to below the knee.

2. Contoured tank pad for resting over sized bellies on.

3. and Clip-ups instead of Clip-ons to raise the height of the handle bars to where they are reached more easily by folks who have to sit back further on account of over sized bellies!

Here is a side shot of my F1 with gold Marvics Brad. The rear is a special "toasted gold", but that is another story. MikeV

Some nice upgrades there MikeV.

Is your tank aluminium or fiberglass? Nice paint job on it too! ;)

Cheers,
MikeA :D

Mine works, but Cranky's fix was much classier, although, we're still waiting and waiting and waiting to see it on the track...zzzzzzzzzz

I am the opposite of Bill. Slow in the shop and fast on the track (if I ever get there)!

Cranky, is there anything on that bike that is not brand new? All the parts look immaculate!

Brad, it was called "titanium" by the shop in 2004. It is much paler than the Duc frames were back then, not near the Marvic gold. Sort of like a light silver/gold pewter (there is no such thing). MikeV

Likely my final posting on this one unless something really unusual happens in the future.

Trophy for Best Vintage at a track day --- not a lot of competitors in that category:

And, inelegant solution to the moving swingarm pin; it works:

One final posting: Portland International Raceway 4/20/2015. It ran like a champ for all six sessions. Beautiful day. What fun. Still tired. MikeV
