Hi Horst, Thanks, I have seen their products for a long time and I guess their quality is good but got offered 2 seats to choose from this morning I go for a Montjuic seat now so am finished looking. I also bought bearings today and a measuring clock for shimming the engine in the new year. Exited to start the real work in the new year. To all best wishes for 2014 Cheers, Ron

Hi all,
I have been offered a set of overzise Pistons for a 750 S (1989) from Arias. Size 89,90 mm, I know the rear head is reversed but can I use these. Also interesting to know is what about 750 S cilinders. At this point I am considdering parts like this as spare. Can you knowledgable people out there give me some advice? I am not really looking but they just came to me. Seller is acually offering 2 750 S engines for sales in parts but complete.
Cheers,
Ron

Ron,
I have a pair of good used barrells that I'd be happy to sell if you want to keep your originals. They have a few thou of wear, but would be suitable for boring oversize. PM if your interested. Clinton

Hi Clinton,
I actually got some barrels offered too. But first I have to establish if these Arias pistons are worth considdering in regards to compression ratio, shape, etc.
Cheers, Ron

Dear all,
Small update. There is slow but consistant progress on the bike. The engines bottomend plus cilinders are ready and the front wheel spacers are ready for the 17" wheels. I brought the tank to a specialist to de-rust and coat it, this was really needed since my brother told me it rusted soon after he bought it new so after all those year there was so much more now...... Just recieved 2 DellOrto revision kits for the Malossi's but have to wait for more work till mid March because of a bizz trip. Really enjoy the process, couple of weeks ago worked on the bike with my 2 older brothers; some sort of reunion.
Cheers, Ron

Dear all,
Progress is going slow and easy between all work and family stuff but a treat to spend my time on. Next steps is milling adaptors for the 320 mm disks and making spacers for the rearwheel. I also have to clean the Malossi's, any suggestions?
Regards, Ron
