hello all.
i have an 85 f1 in that the owner has routed the vertical fuel hose around the rh outside of the cylinder (belt side) because he didn't know where it should go. it has non original res/on/off taps on it like a bevel, etc.
i was thinking it should go over the cam end cap above the spark plug along the lh side. can someone with an original let me know where it is on yours?
thanks.

That is how I did my race bike,I used a length of aluminum tubing to go over the end cap and secured it with an Adel clamp off of one of the cover screws. I didn't like how close the hose was to the vert. exh. pipe and the rigid tubing got it up out of the way, used a 4" or so piece of fuel hose on each end.

this one has oil feeds into the cam end caps, so not much space over the caps. i ran the hose over the rh side of the head through the gap between rocker box and belt surround, like where a later ss runs. should be ok i think, and inside the frame.

That should work too, a somewhat better routing to feed the vert. carb. I thought about that on mine but with no inner belt cover decided against it.
