According to Mr. Falloon, '87 production Santamonica F1's came with braided steel front brake hoses. Also, the 1988 851 Tricolor Kit's and Strada's, and the 1989 851 Lucchinelli Replica racer used that same brake hose attaching set up, before Ducati switched over to only using banjo bolts to mount brake hoses. We are trying to find out what one of the threads is on that adapter that goes between the hose and the caliper and also the hose and the triple clamp mounted distribution manifold. Obviously, one end of it is a male M10x1.0 thread, but what is the male thread at the other end of this mystery adapter? It looks like it could possibly be a JIC thread, but does anyone on here have a loose one handy to check and find out what that thread is for sure?

A picture would help. If the junction block and caliper have adapters that the hose attaches to I would suspect they are AN fittings and the thread is probably 3/8 x 24. Fittings, adapters, and lines are available at many places. I get my stuff from Pegasus Racing as they stock what they advertise and deliver quickly. Plus they have a neat catalog.

Lots of info in the (older) catalogues of Goodridge. Could be that they delivered the Original stuff :?:
Looked for "/3" hoses and that gives a JIC 3/8 but I can't figure out what that gives in mm or inch.
I can check an adapter (blue alu) tomorrow on one of the bikes. Now too dark and cold.
But then I have to look for the thread"caliper"  and where did I put that :?:

ciao

I found this, which is the p/n listed in the F1/Montjuich parts manual as 066154185.
