Does any have an OEM slotted fairing screw that I can buy, or know of a source. I think those are m6X18 or 20. The black big head doohickies. Thanx, Clay |

Steve must have just got them in stock. I knew he had the silver ones, and figured he'd be getting them in black before long. I can't remember - was an Allen socket version of the black ones ever used on any Pantahs? (needing help again Lou..) |

Hey Bill, without looking in a book I can't remember them using Allen heads. I don't think they did for a long time. I remember back in the day changing hex heads to allens to make my bike look cooler! I think it went faster too.Lou |

They were the screwdriver type. That makes it much easier to have them slide out and scratch the original paint. MikeV |

That's why I must have been dreaming about the Allen headed one I thought I remembered. |

You are correct Mike. I use two tools for that purpose. A Dzus fastener tool (Snoopy tool) or I made a small screwdriver with rounded edges. No more scratched paint. Lou |
