Hi, Anybody know?? Take a look at the picture. 2 head pipes, I think the one on the left is a stock F1 head pipe? The one on the right is different, the 2 pipes siamese together differently and this one has a bigger collector section? What are they? I dont see any markings/stampings on either.
Thanx, Clay

Hi Cal, have you had these on a motor? The blacker one looks F1 style. That means it would be on top of the alternator cover. The other one might go under the cover, which is more in line with a TT1 style. I am not in my shop to really get a good look. Just trying to catch up on emails in an airport. Let me know what you find out. Lou

Thanx Lou, I do see the difference, it shows up well in the pictures on the bikes. I have mounted the TT style, have not tried the F1 style head pipe, but pretty sure thats a stock head pipe.
TT pipe has a few unique features that might id it? It has slip on head pipe (not welded) and the rear mount is 2 piece/clamp mount (not fixed/welded.). Here is a picture on the bike (and shows the status of my current tinkering)

Hi Cal, The gearbox sprocket that you have on that bike is it something you had machined up to give the offset to miss the rear tyre ?

Hi Sam, that is a 'standard' Monjuich offset sprocket. A thing of beauty, wish we had a few of those with a corse spline center! Yes Cal that is a TT1 style headpipe. That's a nice looking pipe for that F1! Do you have a picture of the megaphone mount? Yes The TT1's I have seen have a slip on meg, the TT2's are welded. Lou

How mwny splines are on the Monjuich main shaft ? I intend on using 520 chain so will have to machine down a sprocket anyway. I am using a monster rear wheel on mine and had to reduce the thickness of the rear sprocket carrier to align the sprockets also intend on using the smallest tyre suitable for that width of rim to give as much clearence as posible from the chain.

Hi Sam, I think it is 14 spline or fine spline for the Monjuich style, I'm pretty sure it is a 520 size as well. Lou

Hi, Yes, that is 520 size sprocket. I have one more of those in a box, I can check the splines. I dont know if these are available anywhere now.
Here is close up of the tail end of the pipe and the mounting set up.

Wow.......what did you do to destroy that sprocket?? Yeah, here is close up of the fine spline as on F1. When was this change made. Did early F1A have coarse and then F1B and later have the fine/14 set up.
