In my search for parts for my F1 street bike restoration project, I took a trip to a dealer who started importing Ducatis in 1987. Asked him if he had some old Ducati parts laying around from way back. And he had. So I came home with NIB/NOS front fender, alternator, helmet lock, reflector, handlebar switches and other parts.
He had one "standard F1" 280mm full floating front disc.
He also had two 49240041A 300mm Ducati full floating cast-iron discs.
I bought them all, as I made a nice deal on all the F1 parts I could find.

The question is, what are these discs for? I suspected it could be 851 discs, but the center has a combination of cirkular and triangular holes. The later 900 Superlight has the same shape, but they where 320mm. I think I can use them on my F1 with a 300mm calliper adapter (the impress looks the same, just bigger diameter) but is this an "upgrade" or just wrong? I'm building/restoring a street bike so I want it to be more or less historically correct, not just a runner.

Well, you found some nice things for your project. But I think you answered your own question when you said a "standard" 280mm rotor; that is what the stock F1 used. The bigger ones were upgrades for racing, and do require adapters and 4-piston calipers. There are at least three different aluminum centers; the ones you found were the late versions. They are also really meant for 17 wheels; getting a caliper onto a 300mm rotor on a 16-inch wheel is near impossible with the disc spaced between the forks. MikeV

Here is one version of the 300mm rotors:
