 Post subject: Correct/best oil for Laguna Seca

Ime just on with changing the oil on the Laguna, ill guess its a can of worms.... but any advice for the best oil grade? semi or fully synth?

don't know about best but I've been running the Valvoline 4T 20-50 full synthetic. My transmission seems to like it. It does find its way out of old seals though.

Last track day I tried Valvoline Racing VR-1 20-50 dinosaur oil. Shifting was a little less smooth once things heated up in the afternoon. Old BMW and Porsche guys like the VR-1 since it supposedly still has high ZDDP levels, so I thought I'd give it a try.
