hi all,
What is a good coil replacement for my Santa Monica, I allready have a Sache ignition in it and now have a mailfunctioning rear cilinder below 4 or 5000 rpm. Interested in your experiences.
Cheers, Ron

Hi Ron,
are you sure that it is a coil malfunction? you may swap the coils front/rear to clarify...
The Sachse ignition uses 3 Ohm coils, as far as I know...for testing any 3 Ohm coils will do - I'm using coils from a Kawasaki GPZ 500 (very affordable on ebay) in my bevel twin with good results, my TT2 has PVL-coils which may not harmonise with the Sachse -ignition...
Cheers

Hi Wolf,
No I am not sure but I think I will refresh them this winter. Switching the coils is indeed one of the things I am going to tinker on comming days, had a bit of too much things to do past days but racing day is nearing..... Thanks for the GPZ tip, much more affordable then the Dynotek Mini I found too.
Cheers, Ron
