Post subject: | Swingarm pivot clearance |
I've purchased a 2nd oversize swingarm pin and an appropriate adjustable hand reamer. What clearance do people use? I was figuring to put the pin in the freezer. And then ream it round until I was just able to push in the pin by hand. Does anyone have a particular clearance that they prefer or technique you've found that works well? '85 750F1A USA. Thanks mucho. Norm / Colorado USA |

Thank you Wolf... For reference, .03mm is 0.0011811 inches. Call it 1 thou. My existing spindle measured out at 1.102 inches. The larger spindle measures at 1.1065 inches. One set of cases measured 1.104 bushing ID. And the other set did not get measured but definitely feels looser so presumably is bigger still. |
