The small case motors - 350 thru to 750 all take larger diameter 27mm spindles than the 900 motors 20mm. You will need to bore a larger hole in the 900 swingarm to mount it to a small block 750 motor. Also, the 900 swingarm is wider than the 750 where it meets the cases. Previously on this forum members have suggested that fitting spacers or washers to take up the slack as an Ok solution.

The total length of the 900 swingarms is 57.5 cm and the 400 is 54.5 cm. The relative setback of the shock absorber mount is described below. As the 900 swingarms need to accommodate the exhaust they are set back farther. You will need a longer shock if you are fitting a 900 swingarm to your small block 750 motor.

Nice illustrations Mike. And, to think, there are even more versions out there! MikeV |

Mike, Thanks for the pictures. It looks like the inside swingarm widths is somewhere around 240mm - significantly larger than the 196mm opening for the stock steel F1. Marvic sent me a second set of drawings after the original fiasco, but the rear wheel would require an opening of at least 216mm. Won't fit on a stock F1 but would fit these swingarms and (I'm guessing) the Verlicchi versions also. Marvic did, however, make a wheel that fit the stock swing arm at some time. I poked around the internet for a while and found these photos. Gene
