This road is in the Cuyahoga Valley National park. There a lot of nice roads in east and southeast Ohio USA |

Bill, I get your point about using the 4-1/2" rear wheel - so I'll look around a bit before I buy the Marvics. If I can't find anything - how much trouble is the sprocket issue? I read somewhere that Ducati built some models using the wider swingarm and a 5" rear wheel but I don't know if these bikes had different transmission components that brought the countershaft sprocket out farther. I'm going to resurrect this thread a bit since I just came into a Reno Leoni prepared F1. The wheels are Technomagnesio Magnesium Wheels, 3.5" front 5.5" rear, both 17" diameter. The 180's that were on there rubbed against the chain. The only 170's that my parts guy can and are find are track worthy are the Michelin Pilot Powers and the Bridgestone S20's. If there are other options out there I'm all ears. Here's a shot of the bike as it was delivered yesterday to MCC.

It's strictly a track bike. Maybe some AHRMA racing, we'll see. I'm trying to get as much info as I can about its history. Eric gave me what he had but if you've got more details that would be great. Hi Jeff, That bike sure looks pretty nice to be out thrashing around in AHRMA BOT3, where it really wouldn't be that competitive (no matter what Reno did to it) against SV650's unless the rider is very fast. AHRMA needs a true vintage class for 750F1's and TT's. How much is the 180 tire into the chain? One option is to shave down the far l/h edge of the tire with a good sharp wood plane. Another is to offset the sprockets out, or do both. I assume your output shaft is the coarse pitch one? Coarse pitch/big offset front sprockets are very hard to come by, but something could be welded up. Bill |

It's not into it that much and shaving off a bit of the edge was one idea. The bike looks nice in this grainy, back lit image but up close it has it's battle scars. Besides, I have a very nice F1A that's too nice to thrash about. Been a lurker here on and off for a while and was looking for a race F1 or beat up one to turn into a decent track bike. When this turned up I couldn't resist. I get the pros and cons about the wider/narrow tires. I'm not that fast that I'd be able to out knee drag a SV650. I'm just looking to have to fun on a loud bike.
