Recently came across this Laguna Seca with a small oil line run to the back of the motor. It looks like a factory part most likely to oil the transmission. Has anyone seen the inside and what the feed does in the motor?

Ciao Cranky, forse prende olio motore fresco e lo invia al cambio di velocità?

Mai visto niente del genere.

Hello Cranky, maybe take fresh engine oil and sends it to the gearbox?

Never seen anything like it.

I am sure that I can remember a "factory" 1980's F1/F2 engine with a simular oil line.

Hi,
I never seen that on the 4 /5 "european" Paso engines i worked on. Looking inside the case i did not see anything to grease in the bottom of case.
On work TT there were a line supplying fresh oil from exchanger to the heads and cams with a connection to the gears and shafts. In this case it was clearly to cool the gear box.
Regards,
