How have you been making out Mike? All healed up and not black and blue anymore? Can't believe that wanker chose to hit you and your bike instead of some P.O.S. Jap bike. Jealousy maybe? Something to prove? Hope the event officials banned him from further track use.
Get well soon....

Thanks for asking flattop. Honestly, it has made me reconsider my plans to go on the rodeo circuit; don’t want this every few weeks. Better every day, but still “snappin & poppin” inside. MM will beat me back to the track, but I will probably beat William (in the Neatherlands). MikeV

Hope all of you track warriors are healing well, and your steed's are on the mend as well! Lou

I must say that falling when you go to a circuit with a racing bike is not so rare, certainly there are individuals who do not know how to behave, and who start from the assumption that on the track you only go fast, I believe that it would take an education course, a minimum of teaching on lines and behaviors, even in Italy they do the breefing before each competition, but even if one does not listen, he can enter and compete.
The behavior on the circuit is dictated by rules, which most of the time we have seen on TV, and this I think is not enough.
However, one more accident is an excuse to be able to tell an anecdote over a beer, with friends, complete with scars and tears in the motorcycle suit!
I would make you all drunk, if every fall that I tell you, you have to drink a beer ....... all drunk! :D

I do not know if I will be able to make you understand my vicissitude, now I try.
I fell in misano in 2018, and I injured myself enough, collarbone, ribs, tibial plateau and both fractured ankles, luckily only fractures that gave pain but remained in place.
A gentleman told me when I was in the medical center:
But you, don't you use the motorcycle suit, which, before falling, inflates and protects you?
I replied, yes, I use the motorcycle suit, but I still have the old model, which the rider of the bike swells ... after it fell to the ground!

Not so bad. Going to live with it for a while.
