Ime thinking of putting a centre stand on the Laguna, any ideas if the stand from another model is the same? i.e. Cagiva alazzurra etc..

I think the one in the photo is Alazurra; besides the very long foot arm, it has only one bumper on the left, and is tall. I do not think the springs pegs fit the F1 frame well.

And, I have a version sold to me as an F1--- but is at least one inch too short!

Wait, or don't do it.

Thanks for the reply.. you have me thinking now...... with the LS having different wheels/tires to the F1 and mine having the larger profile tires as well i am having doubts? if the F1 stand will lift the bike high enough? any thoughts...........

The 130/80-18 stock F1 rear has a diameter of 26+ inches, and it will just clear on the stand. Measure your tire and work from there. MikeV

The LS project, posted here in build of the year, has a 17-inch rear; they are around a 25-inch diameter. It clears by about 5/8th inch. Maybe this helps.

Just checked the diameter of the Avon's i have fitted..
Front: Avon Ultra Sport: 130/70/16 which as a diameter of 23.1" (588mm)
Rear: Avon................: 150/80/16 .............................. 25.4" (646mm)

I think its close? but a maybe?....

Any thoughts (again)

I put an F1 stand on my Laguna with 16" rims. Since there is not a really good place to lift with your right hand, it is very difficult to raise the bike since the stand is meant for a 17" wheel. There's much more effort involved. I took mine off.

I was thinking more for Winter storage so it isn't on its side stand for Months :-(

How about buying an aftermarket rear wheel stand, and using that? You would need one to install/swap stands anyway! MikeV

Got one.. better to un-load the suspension & tires?

If the purpose is winter storage, I wouldn't go through all this trouble.
You might use a steady stand. These are very convenient.
I sometimes use it for my F1, even though it has a centre stand.
