Eldert. Thanks for that reference. I had looked through the Bevel Heaven DIOC newsletters but must have passed over these ones in too much haste. Interesting reading. I like the idea of getting rid of the thrust type main bearings with straight-cut primary gears, makes a lot of sense not having to worry about the pre-loading etc. I wonder if anybody else has experience with trying this? The steering head angle on his modified bike looks even more extreme than mine!

Ducadini. So true. Even Moto GP bikes can get a wobble-on in the blink-of-a-eye. I had a V-ROD a while back and with installing a wide rear wheel and then lightening up the back end a bit, it would sometimes get into weave/wobble - bad enough once to get into a "no-way-back" tank-slapper at the drag strip at about 80 MPH.
Looks like you have a long history with Ducati insanity. Ride on brother!
