hey everyone

I am new to this forum but have loved the F1 for a long time.

I am 6ft 2" and have been told that the F1 is too small for me.

Are there taller F1 owners here? If so, how do you find the bike?

They do seem compact.

thanks!

H

Hello Welcome to the forum, I have to say that Lou Saif has many ducats TT, if he can he guide them, I can assure you that he is very very BIG!

Hi H, welcome to the Forum. Carlo is correct I am quite large, but I am also older than when I had my first F1. In 1989 I was 6'5" but much thinner back then. The F1 was tight but I was a bit more flexible. If your on the lean side, go for it! It is not meant for touring but burining up the backroads and enjoying an occasional track day. If you want to get serious, some of your fellow Forum guys have built some pretty formidable race bikes from F1's. Either way they are beautiful, and still an affordable classic. Lou

Seat to footpeg distance is tight. For the track I made the seat from 3 inches of viscoelestic foam. Helps a lot. 6'-1", wear a 34 inseam. Thicker in the middle than I should be.
