salut les amis, what is the width of your rims, for track use?

I'm currently riding a 4,5x18" period Marvic-150/70 avon racing rear and 3,5x16" -120/70 , but I've found a pair of new 3,5x18" and 3,5 x 16" ( for front) 3 spokes magnesium PVM wheels.

What do you think about it?

Hello, for the rear I prefer a circle by 3.00 inches or 3.50 inches that you could put a rear tire of 130 or a maximum of 150.

I prefer the front wheel 18-inch, 16-inch circle for my modest experience closes to the front and has a too rigid casing that does not follow the unevenness of the road.

So '3:00 to 3:50 rear rim. 2:50 Front rim

Rear tire dunlop k 145 - 3.50 to 5.00 18.

Front tire I am using a 90/90/18 road runner and a beautiful avon of confidence on the front axle.

This is my humble opinion from a humble pilot.

Ciao Carlo.

Thanks carlo,
3,5x18" will be perfect with a 150 avon ( I'm in love with Avon racing ;) )
You are certainly right with 16" rim, but I'm affraid in having a "heavier" front end with a 18" rim....I have to "finish" my 2 new 16" tyres, so....

Carlo, I'm totally sure you're an humble man, but a great pilot....world champion in italy ,no?
I'm only world champion in my home ( for my youngest son....)!!!

hope we will meet on track in italy or in france!!!

salut
Philippe

Your decision is EXCELLENT, here in Italy we say that: The cleaning is bad only in our pants pockets!

The 16-inch tires, MUST BE VERY GOOD!

ciao Philippe, you are very kind and generous with your compliments, I also hope to have a coffee with you some circuit in French or Italian!

Carlo.
