Hello,

I have a TT replica that had 750 SS wheels from the doner bike, and also the dash with the white face gauges.
I changed the rims and discs to 696 monster rims to save some weight.
One thing I didn't think about was the 696 has an electronis speedo where the old SS had a mechanical drive, etc.
There isn't enough space or meat on the 696 rims to fit the older mechanical drive.
Has anyone used a GPS speedo in their F1?
I've seen the Speedhut GPS speedo which are 3 3/8th or 2 5/8ths, one is a little too big and the other a bit small.
The Speedhut can have the face and numbers almost the same as the original white face gauges.

Any other ideas?

Nice gauges, and not too expensive. I really like the idea of the GPS units, they tend to be more accurate, although with all Campbells tunnels, I wonder what they do then?

I share your pain, my monster wheel (2001) has a speedo drive. So will just either leave it as a spacer or replace with one. I am going down the motogadget gauge path (pictured) as I wanted a single tacho with an integrated digital speedo, and I like their solution the best. The speedo runs off an electronic pickup and can be calibrated, so I'll mount it to pickup the final drive sprocket bolts, or disks if that doesn't work.

I have a mechanical speedo drive to fit 25mm axle if you are looking. Came from a 748 but with 750 gearing.
No good to me anymore. It's about 30mm wide.
