I guess for the price they are a good deal, and very functional. But one cap looks like it is from an earlier era (1950-60s), and the recess in the other tank is waaaaay too much. MikeV

not much use for restorers,
but a pretty good alternative for a GRP tank if you actually want to ride the bike.
this one is unlikely going to dissolve in petrol.
and if you crash you just pick up another one.

I've seen some of his other tanks on Bev Hev i think and they don't look too bad. That fuel cap looks like it was just stuck in the hole for the photo,it doesn't appear to be attached[aha! a quick disconnect filler cap!]

One with the old style cap is cheaper than the one with no cap.... ;)
