Here is a Ducati 750 F1 that was registered in Berlin in 1986 as one of only two of these models imported into Germany that year. It was sold in 1998 to the second owner who ran it for a few years and then sold it as a job lot to an antique dealer. The bike was never registered or run again and sat in the window of an antique shop in Berlin for the next 18 years (see photo) until the owner died and the contents of the shop went to auction this year; where I picked the bike up.

I've got the NOVA declaration done but haven't registered the bike in the UK, but can do so if that matters to the buyer - it still has the original German registration papers. It has done 16,000 km (under 10,000 miles) and is in original condition. It hasn't been cleaned or maintained and so you'll need to recommission before putting back on the road, and I certainly wouldn't recommend starting the bike until the belts have been redone!! The indicator stalks are broken (due to clumsy shoppers in the antique shop) but they are all there and can be repaired, and the seat hump is also present along with some spares. I'm not warranting that it runs and so (like me) you should inspect the photos very carefully to see what you're getting. A chance for a Ducati aficionado to get a complete, unmolested, original classic from the 1980s.
