Hi Everyone!! I'm not new to a lot of you, but I am new to the forum. I joined because I am putting my beloved F1 for sale (sniffle, sniffle) and thought this would be a good place to start!

The bike has been very well maintained, has 13.6K miles on it, and is in great, very original condition. I have attached some pictures, but all the detail shots didn't upload for some reason so I have more for anyone interested. And a video of it running from this past weekend.

HISTORY: I got the F1 in 2006 with 7K miles on it and used it as a daily commuter for a couple years. By 2009/ 2010 I was riding it much less frequently. Last I rode it was a roundtrip from NYC to NH in one day and it didn't miss a beat! That was probably 4 years ago. Since then it has been sitting in my shop unused. My shop is above a boiler room and I think the moderate temps help preserve it. I also drained and rebuilt the carbs after that last trip and before putting it away, so with a battery charge it started right up and idles nice. I have thorough service records for just about everything.

CONDITION: Overall it's in really nice original condition. I used spare bodywork on it for many of the years I've had it and kept the stock bodywork and seat in bubble wrap up on a shelf. That said, there are a couple spiderweb cracks around the fastener holes of the fiberglass and a knick or two on the edges. The frame has little chips at some of the bracket edges. But the majority of the paint looks great including on the wheels and the motor. The worst paint is probably the lower left leg which has some darkish stains. Might be able to come out with the right chemical, but I couldn't get it clean. The ONLY unoriginal paint is the chain cover which I re-painted satin black. Some hardware is rusty BUT I have a brand new stainless hardware kit for this bike that I'll throw in.

ORIGINAL PARTS and SPARES: This bike is 99.9% orig. Items that are not stock to the bike include: 1. a side stand 2. Two into one Verlicchi pipe 3. K&N air filters (of course) 4. And the clutch master and braided line. It's a newer style clutch master because I was having trouble with the stock one. Can't remember why I didn't rebuild it- either I couldn't find a kit or I did rebuild it and still had no luck with it.

You probably notice there is only one mirror in the pics. I do have the other one put away some place safe, just need to remember where that safe place is.I will look for it and make sure it's in good shape. And there are no rear turn signals on the bike. I have them both, but the stems are broken pretty badly. So they either need an extensive epoxy job or more likely a new pair on eBay.

I have the original passenger pegs and a spare rear sprocket. Also have the owners manual and the little tool kit that came with the bike. The vinyl of the tool kit is in crap shape, but it's all there. Oh- and I don't have the key for the cover of the passenger seat and the gas cap. The guy I bought it from couldn't find it so I never had it.

I think that's it. Asking $12K or best offer.

The bike is at Lou's shop at the moment (I think most of you know Lou Saif) in Queens NY, but please don't bother him with questions about it or to come see it. I don't want to give him any extra work or hassle. Just let me know if you need more info or pics or want to come see it. You can e-mail me if you prefer. janiacnyc@yahoo.com

Thanks!
Jane
