Replica/retro build of a Ducati 750 F1 Laguna Seca. Not An Original Laguna Seca. It is now numbered, titled, and registered as a 1988 Ducati (DUCA) 750 by the State of Oregon.

This bike was built on a 1988 F3 400 frame, which is identical to the Laguna Seca frame. It was assembled using either NEW, NOS, or good used parts that were refurbished needed. Completed in 2016, it has only enough miles on the road (about 55) to test its performance.

Frame is powder-coated Bavarian Silver. NOS F1B steel tank and fuel cap. NOS Laguna Seca fairing kit with all new attachments. Good used solo seat. NOS Paso 750 front fender. Buyer will be given correct NOS (and now scarce) Vitaloni mirrors, and red bar ends.

Marzocchi 41.7mm M1R forks in modified F1 triple clamps. 851 clipons. Verlicchi F1 aluminum swingarm (for wider rear wheel) was re-anodized. NOS fittings. 748 rear shock.

1980s-era Technomagnesio magnesium wheels painted in urethane epoxy; 3.25" front and 5.5" rear. These used wheels were free of corrosion.

300mm NEW SS and AL replicas of Brembo floating front discs of the era. 220mm NOS Brembo floating CI and AL rear disc located on caliper bracket with a trailing rod.

851 NOS four-piston Brembo calipers at the front, NOS of-the-era Brembo 05 caliper at rear. SS brake and clutch lines; rubber line purposely used on rear caliper to prevent abrasions to frame and swingarm. New Brembo front, rear, and clutch master cylinders.

Engine has a set of NOS F1B heads and new valves. 40mm Dellorto carbs with flip-up chokes (accelerator pumps are disengaged). Malossi intake manifolds matched to slightly-enlarged ports. Camshafts are 900SS set at 109 degrees intake lobe centers. Good set of F1B pistons and cylinders installed (150 +/- lbs compression). Lower end and all components are from a 750 sport that was in excellent condition, with rod bearings, seals, and gaskets replaced. Light aluminum flywheel. Kokusan ignition and coils. NOS Montjuich lightened clutch outer basket with new plates. Vented clutch cover of the era. Conti NOS black chrome exhaust system. 750 Sport oil cooler and lines. This engine is not stressed, or over-built, and it pulls to 9000 RPM with ease; the correct tachometer suggests that redline is reasonable.

Asking Price is $12,950
