Hi, I thought this may be an interesting type of thread to start, a list of what TT & F1 Ducatis are fetching around the world.
If you purchased/sold an F1 or TT recently - POST A NEW TOPIC in a format similar to this post. ;)
==========================================================
Auctioned on eBay May 25 2011 - Winning bid: US $37,403.00
1986 Ducati 750 F1 Montjuich (Build # is not known)
ZDM3EA3R9GB000158
1,094 Kilometers (679 Miles)
Location: Boyne City, Michigan
Details; eBay item 200609856210
"This is an unrestored original bike and the condition is fantastic. When it came into the collection it was serviced and running. It has been in storage mode since with the fuel drained, and oil in the cylinders and exhaust. It has been stotred in a heated building. It does come with a free and clear title."

LIMITED EDITIONS: Why is knowing the Build # important? In the Art world, when an artist creates a limited number Print of an art work, the earliest numbered Print is more valuable than the later Prints. E.g. Print # 1 of 200 will be more valuable than Print # 153/200 of the same run. Therefore if the bike described above was Build number 1 of 200, it would be potentially the most valuable Montjuich made.

Another motorcycling example of "earlier in the sequence is better" would be the very highly sought-after 1969 "Sand-cast" Honda CB750 which although it is not a Numbered Edition like the Montjuich, it is a limited edition by virtue of a limited production run component - sand-cast crankcases. A "sand-cast" CB is twice as valuable to collectors as the much better made - bugs ironed out later non sand-cast 1969/70 model.
